Spitting Image was an iconic TV creation by Peter Fluck, Roger Law and Martin Lambie-Nairn. Grotesque puppets, black comedic scripts and top actors produced biting political satire. It won heaps of awards and was one of the most-watched shows of the ‘80s, gaining an audience of around 15m people per episode at its peak. The original TV series ran 1984-1996. In conjunction with the show, a special exhibition and event space was created by Spitting Image Projects in London’s Covent Garden. Neil Cowan of flying monkey co-managed the space and the team.
